Rebuilding Bayswater Secondary College
At Bayswater Secondary College, we are proud to offer outstanding facilities that create a welcoming and supportive environment for our students. Since the start of 2024, we have been learning in our brand-new, state-of-the-art buildings, designed to foster a calm and inclusive atmosphere where students can thrive. Our spacious classrooms and diverse learning spaces cater to all learners, ensuring that every student has access to an environment that supports their success.
Our school grounds provide a balance of active and passive spaces, allowing students to engage in both recreation and quiet reflection. Our large and expansive oval is perfect for sports, physical activity, and outdoor learning. The recently asphalted playing court, planned by our students, will soon feature dedicated pickleball and volleyball courts, adding even more opportunities for physical activity and fun. The school’s fitness centre within the gym, along with our outdoor fitness equipment, provides students with access to excellent health and wellbeing resources.
The beautiful school grounds, featuring a community garden and various landscaped areas, offer students a relaxing and inviting place to connect with nature. Our Hands on Learning students are currently working on two fantastic projects to enhance our environment—building stylish bin enclosures to improve waste management around the school and constructing and planting a new kitchen garden, which will further enrich our sustainability initiatives and hands-on learning opportunities.
Looking to the future, we are excited about the scheduled refurbishment of the gym changerooms and toilets later this year, ensuring modern and functional facilities that meet the needs of our students. These upgrades will complement our already exceptional learning and recreational spaces.
