Magic Moments What’s the Problem? Why is it so? Our World Our Future

Key dates for the project set out when Entries should be completed and submitted.

To get involved please have your teacher send an email to the Lantern Film Festival which provides the organisers with information about about your school, your class and the category or categories you wish to make a Short Film or Aimation about. Our organisers will contact you to confirm your school's involvement and suggest a partner school to work with.

All entries must comply with the Lantern Film Festival Submissions Criteria. Please ensure that your team reads and understands the Submission rules of entry before you begin.

Students should work in teams of 3 to 4. Early Years classes may wish to make this a whole of grade investigation. Before starting have students view some examples of short Films or Animations. Then have student teams select either the animation or film and a category to investigate. Make sure to view appropriate curriculum documents (VELS) and select appropriate learning outcomes for student investigation.
